3.1.3 Landscape and Views of the Subject Area
The landscape of the subject area is dominated by former agricultural lands which are now used for
recreation, travel and housing development. Significant views are not associated with any of the identified
heritage items but are related to visual sightlines from the items, which provide an outlook across open
green spaces surrounding the subject area.
None of the vantage points, such as the crest of Herbert9s Hill/near to 8Rheinbergers Hill9 Cottage are
located within the boundary of the subject area, which is tightly aligned with the road reserve of Camden
Valley Way and the southern area where the connection to Liz Kernohan Drive is located. Plates Plate 16 to
Plate 23 present views of the landscape in and around the subject area.
