Prior to the commencement of construction works, disruptions to any property access
should be advised in accordance with the adopted the Traffic Management Plan.
Consent should be sought from the relevant public utility authority if utility adjustment
is requirement as part of the proposed activity.
Construction Environmental Management Plan will be required prior to the
commencement of works. Consideration should be given to the following and
appropriate details provided in the Construction Environmental Management Plan for
establishment of the laydown areas on Lot 1 DP 914674 and Lot 301 DP 1143646:
Appropriate fencing around the ancillary facilities to restrict access
Entry and exit points to be positioned to ensure road and pedestrian safety with
appropriate traffic control measures put in place, when required.
Appropriate environmental safeguards and signage
Potential visual impacts from the sheds, site office, amenities etc, and implement any
mitigation measures required
Connecting ancillary facilities to existing services/utilities, with appropriate approval
from the service providers
Control of emissions including noise and dust management measures
Any tree protection measures, if required
A minimum clearance of 40m must be maintained from the drainage line on Lot 1 DP
914674, and appropriate clearance must be maintained from all other overland flow
paths
6.18.5 Recommendation 2:
During construction works, the principal contractor is to ensure that works are conducted following
the Biodiversity Guidelines – Protecting and managing biodiversity on RTA projects, and any specific
requirements of management arrangements would be implemented to manage environmental risks
associated with weeds, pest species and pathogens. As a minimum this is to include:

Completion of a site weed assessment and, if necessary, based on the assessment
outcomes, a weed management plan;
Implementation of appropriate weed control methods and weed disposal; and
Implementation of appropriate hygiene protocols where there are potential or known
pathogen risks.

Stockpiling in nominated locations must be strictly in accordance with the Blue Book.
A minimum clearance of 5m must be maintained to existing vegetation, areas of
concentrated waterflow, roads, pathways and hazards areas.
Stockpiles must be constructed on the contours as low, flat elongated mounds in
accordance with the Standard Drawing 5-5 in the Blue Book and provided with earth
banks on the upslope sides to divert water and sediment fences on the lower side.
Where stockpiles are in placed for more than 10 days, they are to be stablilised to
reduce the C-factor to less than 0.10
The height of the stockpiles shall not exceed 2m
A soil and water management plan should be prepared as part of the construction
management plan.
